City Bassmasters is a B.A.S.S. affiliated fishing club
that was started in Cortland County New York in 1976.
We have two types of tournaments. Our Draw Trail
randomly pairs boaters and non-boaters for each
tournament. This gives inexperienced non-boaters a good
look at different styles of fishing.
More experienced non-boaters also
benefit by learning “new lakes" and the tournament
format. It also gives them a chance to find a partner
for our Team Trail events. We hold 9 points tournaments
and a “Classic” for anyone who has 5 points tournaments
for the year.
The Team Trail is a team trail for experienced
fishermen and women who want to keep the same partner at
each event. This is a points trail with 6 events and a
Championship for the top 20 teams. Some of the best
anglers from upstate NY participate in our Team Trail.
